Shamus Terry picthed a complete game shutout for Cross Plains, as the Bombers lost 6-0. The loss sets up a big game next week between Black Earth and Waunakee, with the winner clinching the last playoff spot in the Northern Section's East division.

2010 NBC Tournament

Black Earth won it's opening round NBC game on Friday, July 23rd, against the Dodgeville Knights, 2-1. The Knights scored frist in the top of the fourth inning, but the Bombers answered back in the bottom half with a couple of two out hits to plate two runs.

The next day, Black Earth took on Sparta Miller, where Sparta downed the Bombers 6-3. The win for Sparta puts them into the semi-finals on Saturday, July 31st, in Sauk Prairie.

The Night League season finale of Black Earth at Plain was canceled due to rain. No make-up date has been scheduled yet.
